The structuring and implementation of Projects aimed at the Sustainable Management of Non-Timber Products present in and around our reserves is a central element of the EBCF's Economic and Social Pillars.

We believe it is fully possible to promote the bioeconomy in the Amazon, generating jobs and income with the involvement and training of local communities, in business models that value the standing forest by applying solutions that promote the sustainable use of natural resources and the preservation of biodiversity.

Coopema Project

In 2022, EBCF leased a new industrial facility from the cooperative Coopema, located in Manicoré, for 10 years, which is currently deactivated.

We have already developed all the strategic planning that involves the entire value chain of the product, starting from mapping the riverside residents who grow the plants to the entire international Açaí market analysis.
